Quad Biking Near Tangier: What the €57 Tour Gives You, and Who Should Skip It
Updated October 20, 2026 · 4 min read
If you want an active break from sightseeing, the Tangier Quad Bike Adventure with Hotel Transfers is the one to book. It costs €56.95, lasts two hours and has 4.8 stars from 144 reviews, which puts it ahead of the only other quad option around Tangier (4.1 stars from just 5 reviews). It is also more than twice the price of the popular three-hour Cap Spartel and camel tours, so it is worth knowing what you are paying for.
The two quad tours
| Tour | Duration | From | Rating | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quad Bike Adventure with Hotel Transfers | 2 hours | €56.95 | 4.8 (144) | Quad ride through the countryside around Tangier |
| Quad Tour with Cap Spartel, Hercules Caves & Dinner | 4 hours | €271.49 | 4.1 (5) | Guided tour with an ATV ride, King’s Palace, Cap Spartel and an optional three-course meal |
The summary of the first tour promises “rugged terrain” in the countryside around the city and a “powerful all-terrain quad vehicle”. It does not name the route, so do not expect a particular viewpoint or beach. The second tour is a different product: a city and coast sightseeing tour with a quad ride as one part, back to your hotel or port. At €271.49 and with only five reviews, it is hard to recommend on evidence; look at its booking page closely before paying that much.

Quad or camel?
Both are short activities outside the city centre, and the price gap is large. The three-hour tours to Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves with a camel ride start at €27 (see our Cap Spartel guide). They show you the landmarks and the Atlantic coast and ask nothing of you physically. The quad tour is about the ride itself: noise, dust, speed and bumps. If you want to see Tangier’s sights, choose the camel tours. If you want to drive something, choose the quad.
What we cannot tell you
The summaries do not state a minimum age, whether a driving licence is needed, what the route is, whether passengers can ride along, or what protective gear is provided. We will not guess at any of these. Most of this should be on the booking page; read it before you pay and ask the provider about whatever is missing, above all if you plan to bring a teenager. Expect dust and mud on your clothes; closed shoes are sensible on any off-road ride.
When to skip it
Skip it if you dislike noise and dust, if you have back or neck problems, or if the trip is short and you would rather spend the money on the city. Our things to do in Tangier page lists more to book, from walking tours to sunset rides.
Our recommendation
Book the two-hour quad adventure if you want two hours of adrenaline; the hotel transfers are named in the offer’s title. Check the age rule and the cancellation terms on the booking page first. If you only want views, the camel tours are the better value.
